Nicole is a registered massage therapist from Armstrong, BC. Nicole uses a variety of modalities in her treatments but focuses on trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy. Nicole is IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) certified and has taken an extra course in joint mobilizations. Before starting school at OVCMT, Nicole attended Okanagan College and the University of British Columbia for human kinetics. Her time spent studying kinesiology has helped her understand how to incorporate athlete management and rehabilitation into her treatments. Nicole is currently continuing her bachelor’s degree in health science at Thompson Rivers University remotely. She is well versed with sports field coverage having volunteered with the Vernon Vipers Hockey Club, the Vernon Tigers Junior Lacrosse Club, the Jorgen Ballet, the Fulton Senior Boys Rugby Team, and Vernon Adaptive Paddling Club. She is currently working with the Vernon Vipers and the Thompson-Okanagan Lakers for their current hockey seasons. Nicole likes to spend her free time staying active by hiking with her dog Moose.
