Gerald was born in France. Growing up, he wanted to be a physiotherapist. During his teen years, he met a chiropractor and discovered his passion for holistic modalities. Gerald pursued his calling. He travelled to the UK to study and master the art and science of Osteopathy. Gerald earned his degree in Osteopathy in 2006 at the European School of Osteopathy in the United Kingdom. Gerald travelled extensively, working as an Osteopath throughout Europe (England, Ireland, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Guernsey) before visiting Canada in 2012. After a brief year working abroad, Gerald returned to work in Toronto in 2013 and met the love of his life, his lovely wife Miranda. After a short 18 month working holiday in Ireland they returned to Pickering in 2020, when Gerald joined the multi-disciplinary healthcare practitioner team @ Sante Group HealthCare. Gerald is an experienced, passionate and naturally intuitive hands-on practitioner. He blends treatment modalities into a customized fusion, using joint mobilization, soft tissue work, passive stretching, harmonics, visceral and craniosacral therapy to each patient’s advantage. His practice style reflects his classical training in traditional European Osteopathy. Gerald focusses his treatments on balancing the synchronicity of the entire body, with treatments individually tailored for each unique patient. Gerald has experience treating a broad and varied spectrum of patients and conditions. His expertise is in the treatment of sports injuries commonly seen in runners, soccer players, equestrians, and martial artists. He specializes in chronic pain management of complex, difficult to treat cases. His broad vision of integrated body systems directed his practice towards full body assessment, ergonomics and simple self care.
