Dr. Nicole Nebbeling is a board-certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner with 10 years clinical of practice in East Asian Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at the Western Michigan University and her East Asian Doctoral degree at Pacific College of Health Sciences in San Diego, CA. Following medical school, she completed a year-long neuroscience acupuncture program using leading edge electroacupuncture research to help rehabilitate patients. Previously, she’s held privileges at St. Joseph Hospital, working inpatient at Diamond Migraine Clinic. She is currently on staff at Jesse Brown VA working with veterans at the Crown Point Outpatient Clinic. She specializes in orthopedic conditions and pain management. She is a trainer for Battlefield Acupuncture and Acupressure and co-lead acupuncturist of Headache Center of Excellence at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. Nicole is trained in Hatha Yoga and certified through Sivasoorya Institute in Kerala, India. Additionally, she is an acro yoga teacher through AcroYoga International. She completed her Massage Therapy Certification through pacific college in Chicago, IL and continues to practice through fascial techniques such as proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and myofascial release techniques that are integrated into her acupuncture treatments.
What to expect at your initial: As a new patient, we include time for a comprehensive consultation and a treatment session. Each session is tailored to address your specific needs and may include acupuncture with or without electrical stimulation, rehabilitative body work, cupping, moxibustion, low level laser therapy or auricular therapy.
