Paneled with Premera, RGA, HMA, Lifewise, Regence, Aetna, Meritian, Coordinated Care, Ambetter, Humana, Tri-West, Kaiser (HMO/PPO), Washington State L&I, and PIP Rachelle’s path to Chinese medicine started as a child in Honolulu, Hawaii where she watched her grandma prepare simmering herbs and nourishing soups for the family. What once appeared as simple of acts of care would later reveal themselves as an integral part of an ancient medical tradition — one that would eventually shape her professional calling. Today, Rachelle holds a Masters Degree in traditional Chinese medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, California. She is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). After living in the San Francisco Bay Area for 20 years, she moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2021 and has been working in a thriving practice here in Seattle. Rachelle is further certified by the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), with advanced training in the use of acupuncture to support fertility. This area of practice — from preparing the body for conception to providing supplemental acupuncture treatment to IVF and IUI — is a central focus of her practice and continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of her work and connection with patients. In addition to reproductive care, Rachelle works with patients experiencing stress, anxiety and emotional imbalance, helping them to calm the nervous system and restore resilience. She is guided by the understanding that the body’s systems — emotional, physical and energetic —are deeply intertwined. Her treatments focus on creating space for the body to return to its natural rhythms. She also offers facial rejuvenation acupuncture. — a natural approach to supporting skin vitality that works by stimulating circulation and renewing collagen. Rachelle also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art Design from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a background that continues to inform the attentiveness that she brings to patient care. Outside of her professional work, Rachelle enjoys experimenting with recipes, traveling and allowing curiosity to guide her learning.
