As the mother of two energetic boys, one who was not a perfect sleeper, Dr. Peddle knows what it means to be tired. This is why she has focused her practice on helping TIRED MOMS. Fatigue isn’t just a drain on energy, it also impacts your hormones, digestion, mood, immune system, ability to heal and more. It’s true that it takes a village to raise a child, but it also takes one to support a mother. Dr. Peddle is here to be part of your village. Her passion is Women’s Health and how it changes and evolves over the lifetime. Specifically, she loves working with families preparing to or trying to conceive and during pregnancy. She has helped hundreds of couples improve their health and fertility and supported them through pregnancy using Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Peddle believes that knowledge is power and as such she provides women with opportunities to learn more about pregnancy support, information and informed choice. She enjoys helping patients grow their families and to support them and their children through every stage of life. Dr. Peddle has also worked with countless women, supporting them through peri menopause, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS or PMDD and more. In addition to working with women through the various stages of life, she also have a special focus on digestive health, thyroid health, adrenal health, fatigue and the mind-body connection that underlies our wellness. Dr. Peddle was born and raised in Victoria, BC and has always had an interest in healthcare. When she was 17 years old, her father passed away after a year-long battle with cancer. He spent the last week of his life in Hospice where he and her family received attentive and loving care from the staff. This was when Dr. Peddle realized that health is so much more than just the absence of disease. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Dr. Peddle considered a career as a midwife and joined a medical team in Guatemala. It was there that she was captivated by Naturopathic medicine and decided that this was her calling. Dr. Peddle is a member of the BC Naturopathic Association (BCNA), a board certified Acupuncturist, a Bowen Therapy Practitioner, she has her prescriptive authority and has received additional training in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy and Thyroid health. Dr. Peddle is committed to facilitating a stable, empowering and supportive environment for her patients. She consides the larger issues surrounding health and wellness, such as the impact that lifestyle, emotion and stress can have on the development and progression of disease and understands that health is so much more than just the absence of an illness. It is Dr. Peddle’s purpose to help you achieve wellness in the most complete sense of the word and her goal is to help you understand why you are feeling the way you are and for you to become an active participant on your healing journey.

IN PERSON Initial Visit (50 minutes)

For new patients. At this appointment we will discuss your current and past health history, including all aspects of your health, such as nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, medications/supplements, and health concerns. We will locate or arrange for any relevant lab or diagnostic testing and create a treatment plan together. If you have had lab work completed in the past 6 months, please print a copy from your www.myehealth.ca account and bring it with you to your appointment.
