Yako Merogi is a Chiropractor at Body Cure Sport and Therapy in Vaughan, Ontario. Dr. Merogi is also committed to on-going learning and staying abreast of the latest innovations in Chiropractic care and Rehabilitation. Raised in Toronto, Dr. Merogi received an Honours Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University and then moved stateside to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College. He is certified to provide Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization therapy such as Graston technique as well as contemporary medical acupuncture. Dr. Merogi also utilizes joint mobilizations/manipulations, rehabilitative exercise, kinesiological taping and medical Acupuncture as part of his treatments. Dr. Merogi’s clinical area of focus includes manual therapy. Dr. Merogi enjoys working closely with patients to help them reduce pain, increase flexibility and improve their athletic performance. As a former athlete, Dr. Merogi understands the importance of Chiropractic care and the effect it can have on the overall strength of ones body. He believes that the natural approach to Chiropractic care can help people of all ages achieve optimum wellness, both physically and mentally. In his spare time, Dr. Merogi enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active by playing a variety of sports including soccer.
The initial assessment includes history, assessment and treatment and lasts about an hour.
