Dr. Deborah Ajala is an astute physical therapist who takes her time to get to know her patients in order to provide the best possible care. Dr. Ajala has always had a passion for caring ever since she was young and this led to a career in Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelors in Health Sciences with a minor in exercise science and wellness management from the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. After which she obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the same university. Her passion for excellence led her to pursue certifications to further and improve skills. Notable among which include a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) and Trigger Point Dry Needling (CMTPT). The skills obtained enhances her ability to evaluate and provide comprehensive treatment and care for her patients to help them reach their desired goals. Deborah previously worked at an Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic in Maryland as a staff clinician. While there, she treated a wide range of orthopedic conditions for a diverse population that ranged from student athletes to pre/post operative rehabilitation to overuse injuries and everything in between. Her goal with each and every patient is optimizing their return to function. In addition to her passion for treating patients, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and sports. She also enjoys the challenges of exploring a new area and is a restaurant enthusiast.
