Spencer joined GRSM in September 2021. He completed his Master’s in Physiotherapy from Western University, his Master’s of Science in Kinesiology at University of Waterloo where he studied the effects of exercise intensity on cognitive function, and his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at Redeemer University. Spencer believes in an active approach to rehab, using exercise and education with manual techniques to guide his clients to recovery. Spencer has taken post-graduate courses in concussion assessment and treatment and is passionate about helping his clients through their recovery process. Spencer is also certified in Integrative Dry Needling, which he uses for symptom management and to release muscular restrictions throughout in the body. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, and playing sports with family and friends. Spencer is an active runner who enjoys treating running related injuries and uses video analysis to further analyze running gait related issues.
