Kirsten is a graduate of Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy 3,000 hour Registered Massage Program. The modalities Kirsten uses in treatments include deep tissue therapy, myofascial technique, PNF, neuro-muscular therapy, Muscle Energy Technique and muscle trigger point release techniques. She believes in educating her clients so they can take an active role in their healing process. She is driven by a strong desire to help her clients achieve optimal health and function as quickly and efficiently as possible. She has a deep respect for life’s ups and downs, and for the innate ability for the body to self-heal. Kirsten has experience treating a wide variety of soft-tissue injuries including: acute and chronic soft-tissue complaints motor vehicle injuries (whiplash) overuse injuries (tendonitis, IT Band syndrome) mild neurological disorders (carpal tunnel, sciatica) muscle pain associated with postural problems sport related injuries Kirsten splits her professional life now as an RMT and a Registered Nurse. Her diverse background both personal and educational and the balance between clinical science and holistic healing is the platform in which she treats and is dedicated to improving over-all health and wellbeing of her patients. When she is not working, you will find Kirsten exploring the world, playing in the mountains and in the ocean.
