With over a decade of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)), Carlys practice is grounded in thoughtful, individualized care that supports recovery, pain relief, and confident movement. Her work is informed by experience in both therapeutic and high-performance settings and focuses on helping the body move more comfortably and efficiently over time. Carlys approach is rooted in understanding how the body functions as a whole. Pain and restriction are rarely isolated, and treatment often extends beyond the area of concern to address contributing patterns related to movement, posture, load, and recovery. Sessions combine skilled hands-on therapy with careful history taking and assessment, allowing treatment to evolve alongside each clients needs. Earlier in her career, Carly worked extensively in high-performance sport, including roles as Head Athletic Therapist for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club (CFL), Varsity Athletic Therapist at McMaster University, and with the Canadian Womens 7s Rugby team during their preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games. This background continues to inform her clinical reasoning, while her current practice is centred on long-term, sustainable care for everyday life. Now based in Metchosin, Carly values building lasting therapeutic relationships and supporting people at all activity levels. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys life in Metchosin with her young, active family and can often be found exploring the trails, beaches, and wild spaces that make the area so special.
