Registered Physiotherapist MPT, BHK Erin earned her Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBCO with a specialization in clinical exercise physiology. During her time at UBCO, she served as a student trainer for the varsity cross country team gaining valuable experience in the world of competitive sport. She later honed her skills as a kinesiologist, working with diverse patient populations, including those recovering from motor vehicle accidents, post-operative individuals, and those with general musculoskeletal injuries. It was during this period that she discovered her passion for fostering patient relationships and empowering them to achieve their goals. This passion led her to pursue a Master’s in Physical Therapy at Western University. Despite her academic journey, Erin’s roots drew her back to her hometown of Kelowna after completing her degree. Her personal experience with injuries, notably a soccer related torn ACL, allows her to understand the recovery and return to sport process from both a clinician and patient standpoint. Erin holds a strong belief in the therapeutic potential of exercise, emphasizing that uncovering a physical activity that resonates with you is the foundation of individual development. Her approach to rehabilitation is grounded in evidence-based practices, employing exercise, education, and manual therapy to equip patients with the tools they need to reach their goals. Outside of the clinic, Erin enjoys any outdoor activities such as hiking, road biking, trail running, and playing soccer.
