Having personally recovered from several sports injuries, including shoulder and elbow surgeries, Katie understands the challenges of being sidelined and the importance of a safe and timely return to sport. As a physiotherapist, she focuses on finding suitable modifications to sports and activities, enabling clients to remain active throughout their recovery. Katie has additional certifications in pelvic health, which equips her to assess and treat both men and women with incontinence and various pelvic pain conditions. She enjoys integrating pelvic health with activity and sports performance. As a mother of two, she is passionate about helping women during pregnancy and postpartum to feel empowered and confident in their bodies, so they can achieve their lifestyle goals. Katie earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from East Carolina University, where she was awarded an athletic scholarship for NCAA Division 1 springboard and platform diving. Committed to evidence-based practice, Katie stays current with the latest research to provide effective and informed care.
