A former collegiate athlete-turned-rock-climbing-hobbyist, she has always had a deep respect for the complexity and wisdom of the body, and her approach to massage therapy reflects that. Elley studied massage at East West College of the Healing Arts and Advanced Craniosacral Therapy at Moving Mountain Institute. As someone who has navigated seemingly inexplicable chronic pain, she enjoys the puzzling and quantum nature of the body’s signals. They will work with clients to unpack the clues that their body is giving them, and use the information to form a treatment plan. She particularly loves to use craniosacral therapy, gua sha, deep tissue, and cupping in her practice. While she originally hails from a small town in the redwoods of CA, she has also lived in places as disparate as Boston, Egypt, Jordan, and Oakland. They have called Portland home since 2016 and live in the SE neighborhood with their chosen family of people and animals. Elley is passionate about fantasy and sci-fi, psychedelic therapy, and dance.
