Growing up in British Columbia, Matthew studied at Simon Fraser University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He continued his education across the Pacific in Australia and completed his Master of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney. Matthew takes a patient-centered style of care where he can collaborate with clients to achieve their goals by using a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue work, and active rehabilitation/exercise prescription. Through client education, Matthew hopes to empower people to adopt a proactive approach in their recovery and injury prevention. His keen interest in continuous learning allows him to provide current, evidence-based advice and treatment methods to cater to each client’s needs. Matthew has experience working alongside clients from various cases including post-operation, motor-vehicle accidents, and sports injuries, as well as having extensive knowledge of hand-related conditions.
