Long Zuo is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) whose practice is informed by a unique blend of legal studies, humanities education, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This multidisciplinary foundation shapes her holistic approach to care, which emphasizes balance, nervous system regulation, and the integration of mind and body. In addition to her clinical work, Long serves as a Clinic Supervisor and Instructor at the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (OCTCM) and Trios College, where she teaches courses in gynecology, TCM养生 (yang sheng / nourishing life), and supervises student interns in clinical settings. Her teaching roles reflect her commitment to advancing the next generation of practitioners and her depth of knowledge across both foundational and advanced TCM topics. Long specializes in mental-emotional wellness, with a focus on supporting individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and nervous system dysregulation. She is skilled in creating a calm, supportive treatment environment where clients feel heard, safe, and at ease. She has practiced in integrative healthcare settings and is experienced in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care. Long continues to deepen her clinical expertise through ongoing advanced training in orthopedics, cosmetic acupuncture, and specialized needling techniques. During your initial appointment, a thorough health history and TCM assessment will be performed. Your treatment plan will be tailored towards your needs and may include additional modalities such as cupping, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, and TCM lifestyle guidance as appropriate.
