Dr. Sean McConnell, a native of Montreal, graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. He and his family moved to Toronto so that he could complete the four-year doctorate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. During the four years at CCNM Sean was involved with curriculum development and was elected as student representative to the Board of Governors for the College. After clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, and selection for rotation at the colleges satellite clinic at Anishnabe, Sean graduated and was awarded the Dr. Shimon Levytam prize for outstanding understanding of naturopathic medicine. Dr. McConnell currently works as a clinical supervisor at the Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Integrated Healthcare Centre and the Parkdale Queen West Community Health Clinic. He also facillitates teaching of health psychology, naturopathic manipulation, homeopathy, primary care, emergency medicine and evaluates CCNMs clinical entrance exams. His time is also spent developing his private practice at the Integrated Healthcare Centre (IHC) at CCNM. Dr. McConnell is registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and is licensed to practice in the province of Ontario.
For all New Patients who would like to begin care at our clinic. This appointment will be conducted in person.Your appointment will be conducted by a senior student intern who is supervised by a licensed naturopathic doctor. During the appointment the intern will review your health goals and health history then if possible and the supervisor agrees they will make preliminary treatment suggestions. While we aim for this treatments are not guaranteed at the first appointment. This appointment is not assigned to a specific intern, it is only linked to the supervising ND.
