#19-9908 Penhorwood Street, Fort McMurray, AB, T9H 0C2
I graduated from Saint Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics Degree in 2009 and then went on to complete my Masters of Science in Physiotherapy Degree from Dalhousie University in 2011. I moved to Fort McMurray in October 2011 and have called this amazing city home ever since. I have worked in physical therapy private practice since 2011 and have a strong passion for getting results. I am currently trained in Functional Dry Needling, Level 1 Sport Taping, Basic & Advanced Kinesio-Taping (KT1 & KT2) and Mechanical Diagnosis & Treatment (McKenzie levels A – D). I am certified in Vestibular Assessment and Management along with Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation. I completed my training at the American Institute of Balance in Largo, Florida in 2019. I have also successfully completed “Rehab 570 – Diagnostic Imaging in Physical Therapy Practice” through the University of Alberta. This training has allowed me to directly order diagnostic imaging (x-ray, MSK ultrasound & MRI) when appropriate. I strongly believe in a manual therapy approach to treatment along with incorporating a functional exercise program with each patient. I will combine manual therapy, exercise and education into your treatment plan to help ensure we reach all established goals. I am a fun, motivated and a passionate Physical Therapist that loves to work one on one with patients to get the needed results. My areas of interest include: musculoskeletal, neurological, vestibular/vertigo, cardio-respiratory, chronic pain, athletic/sports injuries, worker’s compensation/motor vehicle injuries, building functional exercise programs and sport/athletic taping. Outside of work, I love spending time with my amazing wife and 3 kids. For pastimes, I enjoy hunting, quadding, camping and taking part in all sports.
