I graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington, CT in 2002. In 2017, I transitioned into massage full time. My diverse experience enables me to talk to my clients with ease, provide great customer service and really connect with folks. I am constantly learning from colleagues, taking classes and devouring whatever information I can to evolve as a therapist and better treat my clients. As a self proclaimed muscle nerd, I love trying to figure out what ails you by testing muscle groups and range of motion. I use an orthopedic and functional approach using modalities ranging from a therapeutic/orthopedic style, sports/stretching, cupping, to gua sha. I also work with clients after their massage to correct any postural problems, talking about stretching/self care and try to pinpoint what might be the source of their pain. I look forward to working together to keep you relaxed and pain free!
Therapeutic and Deep Tissue Massage can be a very relaxing style of bodywork while still getting to the route of immobility and muscle dysfunction. It does not always have to hurt! The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, and greater flexibility.
