Áine (pronounced Aw-nya) obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 2017. Upon graduation she worked in Neuro and Stroke rehab in both inpatient and the sports exercise dept. She spent time in private practice physiotherapy (from sports injuries to arthritis management), before working in Older Persons Rehab and Care for 3 years. For the last year she was the Neuromotion Research Development Coordinator and Physiotherapy Assistant as she went through her Canadian credentialling process. She is now fully qualified and licensed to practice in BC. Áine is focused on helping people return to and participate in activities they enjoy. She believes movement is medicine, taking an individualized approach to her evidence based and creative practice. Áine loves sports - her main interest being Ultimate Frisbee in which she has competed in Ireland, Canada and internationally. She also enjoys music, travelling, and sunny weather.
