Susan Manongi L.Ac., MAc Acupuncturist (She/her/hers) My name is Susan Manongi, and I am an acupuncturist and bodyworker specializing in women’s health. I especially enjoy supporting patients with fertility and preconception care, as well as pregnancy and postpartum. I also help with other women’s health concerns including PCOS, painful or irregular periods, digestive issues, fatigue, PMS, anxiety and depression. After years of supporting patients during pregnancy and postpartum and becoming a mama of two myself, I understand the unique challenges this time often brings. I enjoy helping patients to prepare for pregnancy and optimize their health during this time. During pregnancy, acupuncture can help to reduce nausea, support energy, treat pain, reduce stress and prepare the body for labor and birth. I continue to see patients in the postpartum stage, and offer support and grounding throughout this time. I provide compassionate care and feel it is my calling to support women during this journey. Throughout treatments, I incorporate many modalities including a gentle style of needling, non-insertive techniques and moxa. I often utilize Mayan Abdominal Therapy in my practice, which is a form of bodywork that focuses on improving blood flow and balance to the abdomen and pelvis. Because my treatments are gentle in nature, they are calming to the nervous system. I strive to create a safe space and healing environment where you feel seen, heard and supported. My training was at the National University of Natural Medicine, where I had the opportunity to complete a two-year mentorship in Japanese style gentle acupuncture. Upon graduation, I completed a two-year residency and after, continued on with private practice. When not at work, I can be found at the playground trying to keep up with my little ones, in the kitchen cooking something new or planning our next travel adventure. *Susan plans to be in-network with the following insurance plans: Regence/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Moda, Pacific Source and Providence. She is also happy to provide a Superbill for you to submit for out-of-network coverage.

Rooted in the training of Mayan Abdominal Massage and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitative Therapy this unique myofascial treatment works on releasing and aligning the muscles and ligaments that anchor the uterus to allow for optimal alignment, blood flow and detoxification of the pelvic organs. Conditions that this treatment can help with include infertility, fetal positioning in pregnancy, endometriosis pain, fibroids/ovarian cysts, PCOS, severe menstrual cramps. This treatment plan is ideally done twice a month for 3 months during specific times in your cycle, right after menstration and around ovulation. Contraindications for this treatment include first trimester of pregnancy, first 6 weeks of the postpartum period, and the presence of an IUD. This 45 minute appointment does not include Chiropractic Adjustments or treatment of other areas of the body. We are able to bill insurance for this service per your plan's coverage. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early. Please note we require a credit card to be put on file at the time of booking and charge a $50 no-show/late cancellation fee for missed or late cancelled appointments.
