I have been practicing massage for 12+ years now, mainly at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa, but am now starting my own business here in Manistee to help bring health & wellness to my hometown! Smooth stones are heated and then used as a massage tool, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering. Though not deep tissue, it can produce the same effects.
