###**Meet Raemell** (Pronounced ray-mell — or just call me Rae) I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist and proud graduate of The New York Institute of Massage. My mission is to help my clients find relaxation, pain relief, and mental clarity through personalized, compassionate care. By actively listening and truly empathizing with each client, I create individualized treatment plans tailored to your unique needs and goals. I specialize in Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and enjoy integrating stretching and range-of-motion techniques into my sessions to enhance therapeutic results. Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent nearly a decade working in professional bakeries and kitchens. That experience deepened my passion for health, nutrition, and holistic well-being, ultimately leading to a personal health transformation. Since 2016, I’ve lost over 80 pounds and gained control over my Sickle Cell condition—all through sustainable lifestyle changes and self-care practices. I believe that the body is a temple, and with the right care and attention, we can heal, grow, and thrive. Through my work, I hope not only to support physical healing, but to inspire others to make meaningful, long-term changes that uplift their health, mood, and overall quality of life. I'm super excited to be joining the Peak Performance and Wellness team! I can’t wait to learn from my amazing colleagues, grow in my practice, and help you feel better less stress, less tension, less pain, and more YOU.
60 min massage allows 50 min of hands on massage time, 5 min for intake/to get undressed and 5 min to get dressed/address follow-up care recommendations. Hot stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a type of rock that is rich in iron, so they retain heat , but they can be other types. The heat is both deeply relaxing and helps tight muscles release. During the massage, the therapist warms up the body with traditional Swedish massage, then massages you while holding a heated stone. As the stone cools, the therapist replaces it with another. The stones are immersed in water and heated in an electric heating device until they are within a certain temperature range. The stones may be placed at specific points on the back, in the palms of the hand, or between the toes. Many people find the warmth of the hot stones to be comforting and get it for relaxation. It's may suited for people who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter massage. This may good for Back pain, aches, Poor circulation, Osteoarthritis, arthritis pain, Stress, anxiety, tension ,Insomnia and Depression.
