Born and raised in Burnaby, Gurpreet followed her passion for global health by completing her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University. Growing up playing soccer and eventually boxing, Gurpreet realized the impact that injuries can have in preventing people from participating in the activities that they love. With a zest for adventure and keen interest in human movement, Gurpreet then moved to Australia where she completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Melbourne. While in Australia, Gurpreet gained experience in a variety of rehabilitation settings and started managing injuries from the sidelines as a sports trainer for an Australian Football team. Her enthusiasm for injury rehab lead to her to London, England where she helped treat Premier League soccer players at a recognized FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence. Gurpreet strongly believes in educating her patients and empowering them with the tools necessary to reach their rehab goals. With a strong passion for holistic wellness, she’s travelled to Tuscany to become a Registered Yoga Teacher and is also certified in Clinical Pilates. Gurpreet loves to combine Yoga and Pilates principles with traditional manual handling and exercise therapy for a unique and well-rounded approach to treatment. When Gurpreet is not at work she enjoys travelling, trying out new restaurants, and hunting down the newest home decor trends!
