Meet Allie Brown: The Heart Behind A & I Massage "A & I Massage is the culmination of my life’s motivations, my family’s legacy, and a deep-rooted passion for healing." My Journey My massage therapy journey began in 2007 at the National Holistic Institute (NHI). While I graduated in 2008, life has a way of taking us on detours. For years, my dream of opening a private practice sat on the back burner as I navigated the beautiful, challenging path of motherhood. After 18 years of growth, I used my skills as a Certified Massage Therapist to rebuild myself from the ground up. My three children—Aniyah, Isaiah, and Isabella—became the driving force that pushed me to finally bring this dream to life. Today, A & I Massage is more than just a business; it is the most personal chapter of my life. The Meaning Behind the Name People often ask what "A & I" stands for. On the surface, they are the initials shared by my children and myself. But the roots go much deeper. The spark for massage therapy was actually lit by my own mother. As a child, she taught my siblings and me percussion techniques for her leg pain and scalp work for her migraines. She saw the gift in me before I saw it in myself, eventually "putting her foot down" and encouraging me to enroll in NHI. My Mission I built this practice to honor the gifts passed down to me and to create a legacy for my children. I want them to look back and see that passion, when paired with resilience, creates something beautiful. Massage therapy has been my anchor and my tool for transformation. Now, I invite you to step into this space of healing. Whether you are looking for relief from chronic pain or a moment of peace in a busy life, I am here to support you on your self-care journey.
Massage
The classic choice for stress relief and full-body wellness. This treatment uses long, gliding strokes and gentle kneading to improve circulation, ease light muscle tension, and quiet the nervous system.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light massage that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system is part of your immune system and cleans toxins, proteins, cancer cells, viruses, and dead cells about 20 times faster than the body is able to do on it's own. Once a large amount of toxins are eliminated, the body is able to relax more deeply and use it's energy more directly to regenerate the cells.
