Jackie is a Certified Athletic Therapist and Osteopathic Manual Therapist, having graduated from the Canadian School of Osteopathy, Manual Practice in Vancouver, BC in April 2018. Since beginning her career in Athletic Therapy, Jackie has worked with various populations including athletes of all levels in hockey, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, football, wrestling, soccer, golf and dance. Jackie has worked with The Edge School for Athletes since 2007, The Young Canadians at the Calgary Stampede since 2013, the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine team, and has been the Head Athletic Therapist for the Calgary Inferno, a professional women’s hockey team in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) from 2012- 2017. This team includes Olympic gold and silver medalists from Canada’s National Team. Jackie has incorporated Osteopathic Manual Therapy techniques into her clinical practice over the last several years. Blending the two professions of Athletic Therapy and Osteopathy has allowed Jackie to provide her patients with a thorough assessment and treatment plan, which includes exercise therapy and active rehabilitation. As Osteopathy works to release the tensions which cause dysfunction, Jackie believes healing must continue through movement, exercise and bio-mechanical correction! Although working with athletes is her passion, Jackie has a keen interest in working with pregnancy, babies and children.
