Karen is a Student Massage Therapist currently completing her training at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. She has completed over 400 hours of tracked and supervised hands-on treatment and is preparing to write her registration examinations in late 2026. Through her clinical training, Karen has gained experience working with clients presenting with a variety of conditions and concerns, including fibromyalgia, cancer-related care, prenatal and postpartum needs, anxiety, tennis elbow, TMJ/TMD concerns, and multiple sclerosis, among others. These experiences have helped shape her compassionate, adaptable, and client-centered approach to treatment. Before pursuing massage therapy, Karen worked in dentistry and healthcare administration, including roles in dental clinics and Vancouver Coastal Health. Her healthcare background has strengthened her communication skills and her ability to create a comfortable, respectful environment for clients. Karen is passionate about helping people slow down, unwind, and reconnect with their bodies. She believes massage can provide a valuable opportunity to step away from the stresses of everyday life and create space for rest, relaxation, and self-care. Her goal is to help each client feel supported, comfortable, and at ease throughout their treatment. Outside of the clinic, Karen enjoys travelling, exploring different cultures and wellness practices, trying new foods, and spending time with her cat under the sun. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
