Corey Thatcher is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist whose approach is grounded in the deep connection between movement, physical health, and mental well-being. He developed a passion for movement and the human body while completing his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Literacy at Mount Royal University. Through his work, Corey observed that injuries—whether in high-level athletes or everyday individuals—often disrupt not only physical function, but also confidence, identity, and overall well-being. This realization led him to osteopathy, where he found a holistic approach that aligned with his understanding of health as an integrated system. Corey completed his training in Osteopathic Manipulative Science at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. His approach focuses on facilitating the body’s natural ability to restore balance and coordination. Guided by the principle that structure and function are reciprocally related, he recognizes that when the body is balanced and symmetrical, its inherent self-healing and self-regulating mechanisms are better able to establish harmony. By working with the relationship between structure and function, Corey aims to create an environment where the body can adapt, recover, and perform with greater ease. Outside of the clinic, Corey enjoys exploring local cafés, trail running, and continuing to deepen his understanding of anatomy and human movement.
