Osteopathy takes a holistic approach to health, focusing on the interconnectedness of the body’s structure and function. It promotes fluid flow, supports the nervous system, and addresses structural adaptations due to stress or injury. While Osteopathy specifically considers diseases or dysfunctions in the bones, it always looks at the body as a whole. Through Osteopathic practices, we enhance the relationships between bones and joints, treat soft tissue and fascia, and aim to restore healthy motion within the organ systems. This comprehensive perspective prioritizes overall health. In practical terms, Osteopathy is particularly effective for concussions, as it addresses both skull alignment and nervous system function. It can also help: Reduce stress Increase range of motion Improve joint mobility Alleviate chronic pain Enhance posture and alignment Decrease inflammation and support circulation
