Louise has been in practice as a Naturopathic Doctor since 2008 and has a passion for helping patients struggling with complex chronic conditions improve their quality of life. In addition to her private practice, Louise is the lead supervisor of the FM and ME (CFS) focus shift at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and an academic instructor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine teaching the FM and ME 3rd-year course. Louise co-authored The Complete Fibromyalgia Health, Diet Guide and Cookbook (Robert Rose 2013). Louises media presence has included articles and interviews in: the Toronto Stars Turning Point Series, Girlfriendz Magazine, the Huffington Post, VIVA magazine, CHRY Radio, CCNM Alumni Maga-zine, OAND Collaborative Patient-Centred Care Panelist, and RadioMD Family Food Kitchen. Louises style of practice is patient-centric, working to understand her patients current conditions and circumstances and to learn from what has helped and not helped them in the past. Louise knows the importance of a practical and straightforward treatment approach that will set patients up for success. In her practice, Louise takes an evidence-based approach and utilizes a range of treatments, including botanical medicine, acupuncture, clinical nutrition and lifestyle counselling. Louise is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), who has met and maintains the CONO Standard of Prac-tice for Therapeutic Prescribing. Louise is a member of Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). When not at work, Louise is an avid runner and enjoys leading an active lifestyle with her husband, 10-year-old twins, and two Portuguese Water Dogs.

This appointment will be conducted in personYour appointment will be conducted by a senior student intern who is supervised by a licenced naturopathic doctor. During the appointment the intern will review your health goals and health history then if possible and the supervisor agrees they will make preliminary treatment suggestions. While we aim for this treatments are not guaranteed at the first appointment. This appointment is not assigned to a specific intern, it is only linked to the supervising ND.
