Born in Australia and raised in Baltimore, Maryland Benjamin received a Masters degree in Counseling from San Francisco State University and a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, California. He has worked as a counselor, mediator and coach in San Francisco and the East Bay, where he was focused on supporting the progress of clients and the community on the continuum of personal inquiry, increased self-actualization, and greater well-being. He believes that healing begins with feeling connection and a deep sense that one is heard, seen, and understood and that any potential intervention, treatment, or interaction has to be rooted first in relationship and connection. His treatments and general approach hold an intention to re-establish harmony between mind, body, and place and utilize different modalities of East Asian medicine to address physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of wellbeing. He offers acupuncture, channel palpation, cupping, moxibustion and Tui Na to support patients in finding greater awareness and access to the existing pathways of healing within.
