Alex received a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia and prior to that, graduated with a Kinesiology degree from Brock University. While overseas, Alex received exposure to a wide array of individuals with various injuries and conditions. He settled into working with a predominantly athletic population ranging from weekend warriors to professional athletes. He also had the opportunity to work closely with both an Australian Rules Football club and Soccer club respectively. His passions grew to surround acute injury management and post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation. Alex’s treatment philosophy emphasizes collaborating with people to keep them doing what they love while supporting them throughout their rehabilitation and promoting self-efficacy. In Alex’s free time he enjoys staying active whether it be in the gym, going for a run or playing sports. He also enjoys finding new coffee spots, so new recommendations are always appreciated.

Initial Assessment & Treatment

The initial assessment is for new patients. It entails a full detailed history of the presenting complaint, any relevant medical history, reviewing documentation and diagnostic tests, and a physical examination of the affected area. The session will conclude with education on the physiotherapy diagnosis, documentation of all findings, and advising on the course of treatment.
