Unit 420 6325 204th Street, Building 400, Langley, BC, V2Y 3B3

Larry graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. While at SFU he attained his BCRPA personal training certificate and soon after graduation became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. For the next seven years Larry developed his exercise therapy skills by implementing and monitoring exercise programs, within a private physiotherapy clinic, that specialized in work conditioning and active rehabilitation. As a Personal Trainer and Strength Coach, he also had the opportunity to design exercise programs for many sport teams, athletes and weekend warriors of all skill levels. In 2004, Larry returned to McMaster University to complete his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Immediately following his graduation Larry returned to private practice working a full-time orthopedic caseload in Surrey, BC. Recently, Larry left Surrey to work a full caseload, in the city he calls home, at Langley Physiotherapy. Believing in a multi-modal evidence-based approach to Physiotherapy, Larry has added to his vast exercise knowledge by finishing the necessary levels and exams, through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, to use dry needling in his practice. Larry is currently working through his post-graduate Manual Therapy levels to improve his soft tissue and joint mobilization and manipulation skills. Larry first became interested in Physiotherapy after learning about the profession first hand by working with physiotherapists to recover from his many hockey and sport injures. While playing Junior A Hockey in Victoria, Larry learned how to recover from various injuries like: torn ACL, separated AC joint, chronic dislocating shoulders and SIJ sprains. He still enjoys playing competitive weekend hockey even though he walks with a limp for two days after each game. Although, Larry has a special interest working with athletes he truly enjoys working with all people, with varying injuries and pain, to help to improve their quality of life.
