Dr. Lauren Wills is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Augustana College. While attending Sterling High school, Dr. Lauren competed in track and cross country and was team captain of both despite undergoing two knee surgeries in that time. Into college and beyond, Dr. Lauren had all but given up on running due to knee pain. While in chiropractic school she started to have her knees as well as her spine adjusted and as a result had her first pain-free run in twelve years. After graduation, Dr. Lauren established a chiropractic practice in Boulder, Colorado specializing in athletes and treated several world class professional triathletes, rock climbers, road bikers, and crossfitters as well as weekend warriors and everyone in between. During the year of 2014, Dr. Lauren gave birth to her first child, completed her first ultramarathon (50 miles) and became deeply interested in treating the female athlete and women in the motherhood transition. Since that time, she has become the Regional Director for BIRTHFIT Sauk Valley, Webster certified, and a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Lauren has completed over 600 hours of continuing education and training in the areas of chiropractic medicine, advanced adjusting techniques, physiotherapy, neurology, TMJ and extremity treatments, sports performance, soft-tissue techniques and nutrition.
