I have been a massage therapist since 2002 and over the years have worked in numerous well-known and reputable entities such as Massage Envy, J&J Therapeutic Massage, and Burke Williams. I was inspired to work as a massage therapist almost twenty years ago during my time as a restorative nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility. It was in this setting that I became aware of the importance and power of therapeutic touch as I treated clients suffering from depression, anxiety, muscle pain, tension, and arthritis. I founded Sunergos massage in 2009 to continue practicing and promoting the power of therapeutic touch through massage therapy. The name Sunergos is the greek word for "together." It reflects an important aspect of health and wellness that I learned in my nearly 35 years of working in health-related professions: Wellness is best pursued together .
