Upper Level, 350 Beech Avenue, TORONTO, ON, M4E 3T8
Jake graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, completing a double degree comprising a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). He is also qualified in myofascial dry needling and cupping therapy and has completed additional training in shockwave therapy. Jake’s passion for osteopathy developed through years of playing competitive sport and experiencing a variety of injuries himself. Having personally benefited from osteopathic treatment throughout his recovery, he was inspired to pursue a career helping others return to the activities they enjoy. Since graduating, Jake has worked in private practice across Australia and the United Kingdom, treating patients of all ages and activity levels, from office workers and tradespeople to recreational and professional athletes. Jake also has undertaken additional qualifications in occupational health and safety, developing expertise in ergonomics, manual handling, and workplace injury prevention and management. He has delivered workplace assessments and manual handling training across different work environments, allowing him to bridge the gap between clinical treatment and practical injury prevention. Jake believes every patient deserves a thorough assessment to identify the underlying cause of their pain rather than simply treating symptoms. His treatment approach focuses on restoring efficient movement, improving biomechanics, and creating long-term results through a combination of hands-on treatment, education, and tailored rehabilitation strategies. He has a particular interest in treating neck pain, low back pain, sporting injuries, and workplace-related musculoskeletal conditions. His treatments are primarily hands-on and combine soft tissue massage, joint articulation and manipulation, muscle energy techniques, myofascial dry needling, cupping, shockwave therapy, and personalised exercise rehabilitation to help patients move and perform at their best.
Initial osteopathic appointment includes consultation, assessment and treatment.
