I learned the impact of massage during my 10 years as a certified nursing assistant and caregiver for my grandfather. Just a few minutes of massage helped my grandfather with restless leg syndrome and I knew that I needed to learn more about the benefits of massage. After graduating massage school I put my skills in swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point, and myofacial release to use at a chiropractor clinic. While I was there I learned how to effectively balance a massage to feel like relaxation, but have the therapeutic results expected from a medical clinic. I have had great results working with people who have carpal tunnel, low back pain, neck pain, difficulty sleeping, migraines, and frozen shoulder. Some of the things I like to do in my free time are hiking, gardening, cooking/baking, yoga, cycling.
