Dr. Kristen Mangos is a Chiropractor currently pursuing a Sports Sciences Residency program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph, where she worked with the Guelph Gryphons Women’s Volleyball team. As a soccer player herself, Dr. Mangos understands the physical demands of the sport and the challenges of injury recover. She has extensive experience working with soccer players of all ages and experiences levels from youth developmental academies to elite-level athletes. During the summer, you’ll find her on the sidelines with Ontario Player Development League and League 1 Ontario soccer teams ensuring player safety and peak performance. Through the Sports Sciences Residency, Dr. Mangos is expanding her expertise in sports injuries, working alongside sports physicians, orthopedic surgeons and sports chiropractors. Here she is also involved in teaching chiropractic students and conducting research, focusing specifically on youth soccer athletes in Ontario. Outside of clinic and school, Dr. Mangos enjoys finding new coffee shops, gardening, and hanging out with her dog Roo. For a new or established patient, entails a full, detailed history of the presenting complaint, the review of any relevant documentation, and a physical examination of the affected region. Required to arrive at a diagnosis, complete an appropriate record of findings, advise the patient on course of treatment, or referral to another healthcare provider if necessary
