She is also certified in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) through the Dr. Vodder School. MLD is a gentle, relaxing skin technique that improves the drainage of excess fluid from body tissues through the lymphatic system. It can be effective in the treatment of various conditions including lymphedema, acute/chronic injuries, sinusitis, migraines, concussion, insomnia, shingles, contusions (bruises), pre- and post-surgery, constipation, and bloating. Neelke’s practice is focused heavily on relaxation and pain management to facilitate healing and wellness. She incorporates therapeutic techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, and MLD in formulating a treatment plan to help you reach your wellness goals. Neelke was born in South Africa and, after completing her schooling, she spent 12 years in Hong Kong before moving to West Vancouver with her husband and son in 2014.
