From an early age, I’ve been deeply passionate about health and sports. Growing up in a medical family, I always felt that true health went beyond just medication. I intuitively understood that our bodies are designed to thrive naturally. My commitment to high performance solidified during my time rowing for the Varsity Crew at Queen’s University. Over three decades later, I’m still dedicated to optimizing my own performance and sharing that knowledge with my patients. Today, my passions include running and tennis, activities I continue to pursue at a high level even in my mid-fifties. This is no accident—it’s the result of a holistic approach that includes diet, exercise, meditation, and, most importantly, the Torque Release Chiropractic Care I receive from my wife and business partner, Dr. Ange Wellman. Early in my career, I practiced traditional manual chiropractic techniques, but I was always searching for methods that aligned more closely with my understanding of the body. That search intensified after a severe shoulder injury from a mountain biking accident. My journey led me to Torque Release Technique (TRT), and the first time I received a TRT correction, it was a revelation. The immediate, profound shifts I felt confirmed that this was the technique I wanted to bring to my practice. My mission is to lead by example, helping others live active, healthy lives through Torque Release Chiropractic Care and positive lifestyle choices. Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time outdoors with my wife and two daughters, enjoying the activities that keep us all connected and vibrant.
