Why massage therapy? Due to 3 major surgeries, I combat chronic pain and tension in my own body. The pain led me to pursue massage therapy for myself. I have always been active, but remaining active can be more challenging with age. I won’t let that stop me. I’ve found modifications with weight training, pilates, and yoga. I stay consistent with one or more of the following: massage, acupuncture, PT, and chiropractic. Combining these methods has helped me to remain functional in my daily activities and with less pain. I began studying massage years before enrolling in school simply because I was fascinated by the power of touch medicine. If I saw my family in pain, I wanted to help by massaging their hands, shoulders, or feet. Later in my career, I decided to help others find relief from their chronic pain. So here I am, working to find the most efficient way to help clients diminish pain and stiffness, alleviate stress, and much more!
This session is tailored to your needs with a mix of techniques—like cupping, stretching, lymphatic work, or Gua Sha—to ease pain, melt tension, and help your body feel its best.
