822 12 St, New Westminster, BC, V3M 4K3
Katrina graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. She brings over 10 years of experience in active rehabilitation, personal training, private and semi-private training, and group exercise. Katrina has been a member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists since 2017. Her areas of focus include strength and conditioning, musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation, motor vehicle accident (MVA) rehabilitation, prenatal and postpartum exercise, and neuromuscular conditions. Katrina works with a wide range of clients, from those recovering from injury or surgery to individuals looking to build strength, improve their fitness, or return to the activities they enjoy. Katrina takes an individualized approach to exercise and rehabilitation, developing programs tailored to each client’s goals, abilities, and limitations. She takes the time to understand each client’s needs and believes in setting realistic expectations while helping clients challenge themselves and make meaningful progress. She believes rehabilitation should be about more than simply becoming pain-free, with a focus on building the strength, confidence, and physical capacity needed to return to the activities clients enjoy and continue progressing beyond their initial recovery. Katrina is honest and straightforward with her clients. Whether rehabbing an injury or working toward a new personal best in the gym, she believes in finding an approach that works. If something isn’t working, she’ll be the first to say so—and then work with the client to find an alternative that helps them continue moving forward. Outside of the clinic, Katrina enjoys strength training, running, and spending as much time as possible with her son.
