Josh holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from SFU. He takes a collaborative approach to care, combining exercise prescription, manual therapy, and patient education to help each individual feel stronger, more confident, and supported in returning to the activities they enjoy. Josh has experience working in post-surgical and neurological rehabilitation settings in hospitals, as well as with young athletes and individuals with osteoarthritis. His interest in physiotherapy was shaped by his own experiences with injury while growing up playing basketball and volleyball, along with his time volunteering with the Track and Field and Women’s Soccer teams at SFU. These experiences continue to influence his practical, patient-centered approach to care. More recently, Josh has developed a particular interest in lower limb injuries, especially ACL injuries and tendinopathies. During his physiotherapy degree, he published a systematic review on the diagnosis of rotator cuff tendinopathy using ultrasound and remains committed to staying up to date with the latest research in rehabilitation and injury prevention. Outside of the clinic, Josh enjoys staying active through running, swimming, biking (weather permitting), rock climbing, and backpacking. He also enjoys sci-fi movies and books and is a dedicated Golden State Warriors fan.
