April was a graduate from VCMT in the spring of 2018 and is very enthusiastic about working with Legacies. One of her favorite things about working with Legacies is the opportunities to work with sports teams such as the BC Lions, the Vancouver and Abbotsford Canucks, and help the athletes who travel to Vancouver for the Rugby 7s! ___ She made the leap into the RMT world after being a body worker for 8 years and finding relief in massage therapy for previous injuries. April has always had a passion for helping people and understands that no two patients are alike. She believes that mental and physical well-being are very much connected and relaxation is an integral part to massage. She adapts all of her treatments to meet every patient’s unique needs to help them meet their goals and enjoys problem solving with other practitioners to help patients get better, faster. Utilizing various techniques such as: incorporating breath Swedish myofascial trigger point release neuromuscular therapy dynamic release stretching She has treated people for conditions such as: Thoracic Outlet syndrome, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel, pregnancy, and headaches to name a few. When she is not helping patients you can find April with her head in a book (she loves to learn), travelling, and going to live events, or playing with her niece and nephews.
