Betty has an intuitive approach to massage that is grounded in an understanding of anatomy. She enjoys using a blend of modalities depending on her client’s needs. She uses myofascial release techniques to address restrictions and holding patterns in connective tissue known as fascia. She uses deep tissue and sports massage techniques to break up adhesions, address trigger points, and help relieve tension and pain. Betty always aims to include relaxing elements to her massages so that any deeper focused work can be accepted by a safe and calm nervous system. From full body relaxation to focus on and around problem areas, Betty enjoys meeting people where they are at to help them in their own healing/ self care journeys.
