Dr. Aleisha Adeboyejo (DC, MHSc) is an evidence-based chiropractor with a special interest in hip and knee osteoarthritis, spinal conditions, healthy aging, rehabilitation, and peri-menopausal musculoskeletal health. A former Team Canada synchronized skater and international competitor, Dr. Aleisha developed an early appreciation for movement, performance, and injury recovery. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). She recently completed her Master of Health Sciences (MHSc) at Ontario Tech University, where her research focused on the characteristics and disability experiences of older adults living with low back pain. Dr. Aleisha also completed CMCC’s Clinical Sciences residency program, where she trained in hospital-based settings throughout the Greater Toronto Area, including St. Michael’s Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. Through placements in family medicine, rheumatology, orthopedics, and neurology, she worked alongside medical specialists managing a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, with particular exposure to osteoarthritis, spinal disorders, inflammatory arthritis, and age-related mobility challenges. This experience reinforced her passion for helping individuals maintain strength, mobility, and independence throughout the lifespan. Passionate about helping people stay active, strong, and independent throughout life, Dr. Aleisha combines manual therapy, rehabilitative exercise, acupuncture, and patient education to create individualized treatment plans that support long-term function and resilience. She leads the GLAD program for individuals with hip and knee osteoarthritis and developed the StrongHer program, a strength and bone-health focused exercise program designed for women navigating peri-menopause and beyond. Outside the clinic, Dr. Aleisha enjoys strength training, camping, spending time with her family, and keeping up with the latest research in musculoskeletal health and healthy aging.
