Dr. Ratcliffe is passionate about caring for his patients and loves his job. Dr. Ratcliffe is a local, having grown up in Maryland and attended University of MD. College Park. After his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker University in 1997. He was Board Certified in 2007 after received his Diplomate in Rehabilitation from the American Board of Chiropractic Rehabilitation Specialists. After practicing for ten years as a Chiropractor he added the rehabilitation specialty after a rigorous post doctoral program. He then completed an advanced neurology program in electrodiagnostics and Functional Neurology. He pursued another additional Board Certification and is one of an elite group of physicians to also hold both a Diplomate in Clinical Nutrition and become a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. Dr. Ratcliffe is active in Functional Medicine at the national level and is a Board Member of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. Dr. Ratcliffe currently sits on the examination committee and helps design the testing questions for the new Board Eligible Physicians. His passion is neuro-orthopedic rehabilitation, neurology, functional medicine, and nutrition. Dr. Ratcliffe has three boys and loves his active family. He enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, running, and teaching. Join him for YOGA on Monday nights. His areas of expertise are conservative based spine care, rehabilitation, physical medicine, human performance, movement disorders, clinical nutrition and functional medicine. His skill is unsurpassed in gently re-aligning not just the bones of the body but also in myofascial release. Dr. Ratcliffe’s approach has led to great successes in the treatment and management of a vast array of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. He is avid in his post-doctorate education and has attended conferences at Harvard Medical School as well as many other prestigious institutions for the advancement of his specialized treatment. Dr. Ratcliffe has three boys and loves his active family. He enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, running, and teaching the youth group.
