Dr. Pamela Hall (“Dr. Ye”) brings a rare blend of lived experience, rigorous training, and natural intuition to her work as an acupuncturist and herbalist. Originally from Mississippi and a Baltimore resident for more than two decades, her path to medicine began in childhood. After a severe burn injury, she was told she would never regain the use of her hands. Her grandmother’s traditional remedies proved otherwise — and planted the early belief that she was born with “healing hands.” That moment became the foundation of a lifelong calling. Over the years, Dr. Ye built a remarkable and multidimensional healing career. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Baltimore, became a Maryland State Licensed Esthetician, a Reiki Master, and a Certified Tantra Instructor. She then went on to make history at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, becoming the first student to earn all three degrees — Master of Acupuncture, Master of Oriental Medicine, and Doctor of Oriental Medicine — within just three years, graduating with honors. She is also the first native-born African American woman from Mississippi to earn a doctorate in Oriental Medicine. Clinically, Dr. Ye is known for her thoughtful, comprehensive approach to care. A true healer, Dr. Ye is called towards providing the highest level of care to her patients. She completed a successful case study demonstrating acupuncture’s effectiveness for depressive episodes, and she has cultivated a strong reputation as a skilled Chinese herbalist. Her herbal work is especially sought-after for women’s health concerns, including fibroids, ovarian cysts, menstrual irregularities, and hormonal imbalance. Patients describe her as warm, intuitive, and deeply committed to getting to the root of each person’s health story. Her background, both personal and professional, allows her to hold space with compassion while delivering evidence-informed, results-oriented care.
