Dr Ryan Drizen
Active Recovery Boston
391 E Central St, STE 1, Franklin, MA, 02038-1350
Dr. Ryan Drizen is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and earned his undergraduate degree in Health Science from Merrimack College. Throughout his career, he has worked with patients from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them overcome pain, restore movement, and return to the activities that matter most to them. Dr. Ryan believes that effective care begins with understanding his patients as a whole, not simply treating the location where symptoms appear. His approach focuses on identifying the underlying movement restrictions, muscular imbalances, and compensatory patterns that may be contributing to a patient’s condition. By combining chiropractic care, soft tissue treatment, functional rehabilitation, and patient education, he develops individualized treatment plans designed to create meaningful and lasting improvement. With great experience in both pediatric and sports-focused chiropractic care Dr. Ryan enjoys helping children and adolescents build healthy movement patterns as they grow, while also working with athletes on injury recovery, prevention, biomechanics, and performance. As a lifelong hockey player who continues to compete at the Senior A level, Dr. Ryan understands firsthand the physical demands placed on athletes and the importance of care that supports long- term development, recovery, and confident movement at every age. Before joining Active Recovery Boston, Dr. Ryan served as a lead chiropractor in the Greater Boston area where those experiences strengthened his commitment to listening carefully, educating his patients, and treating each person according to their individual needs and goals. Outside the office, Dr. Ryan remains active through hockey and fitness. He is also an award-winning science-fiction author whose writing explores artificial intelligence, consciousness, and the relationship between science and the human experience. Above all, he values connecting with people and helping them take an active role in their health, recovery, and long-term well-being.
