Lisa graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2004 and has been providing massage therapy care in Port Moody since 2012. She is an active registrant of the College of Complementary Health Care Professionals of BC (CCHPBC) (formerly the College of Massage Therapists of BC (CMTBC)). A wide variety of modalities may be used during treatment, including: neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilizations, Swedish massage, stretching, and the provision of home care. Lisa believes in a balanced treatment approach which may include consulting with, or referring to, other heath care professionals to assist her patients achieve their wellness goals. Lisa is pleased to offered her prenatal patients the use of the BodyCushion System during their massage therapy treatments. The BodyCushion allows for supportive and comfortable bolstering in both face-down and side lying positions. Treatment positioning is determined at each treatment after patient consultation. Whether your goal is to decrease pain or discomfort, improve posture, improve range of motion or physical function, or to achieve a greater sense of well-being, Lisa looks forward to working with you. Outside of her practice, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and exploring all of the beauty the Tri-Cities has to offer. Please note: Lisa does not currently treat injuries associated with open WorkSafeBC or ICBC claims.
