I’m passionate about helping people feel at home in their bodies. My approach to massage therapy blends various techniques to not only decrease pain and dysfunction but also to promote deep relaxation and restore balance. I believe that true wellness comes from not just releasing muscle tension but also enhancing overall stability and optimal function through therapeutic movement. Before becoming a registered massage therapist, I spent over a decade working with bodies through teaching yoga and movement. I’ve completed more than 500 hours of training in Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Kid’s Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Yoga Tune Up, and the Roll Model Method. Guiding students on the mat made me want to take my passion for bodywork even further, leading me to pursue a diploma in Massage Therapy, which I graduated with honors in 2021. I’m hoping to help you reconnect with your body and move with greater ease. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, improved function, support in managing stress, or simply a space to unwind, I’m dedicated to creating a therapeutic experience that leaves you refreshed.
Massage Therapy
Swedish massage techniques are used to manipulate soft tissues and muscles to relieve stress and discomfort. Treatments may address concerns such as neck tension, frozen shoulder, and lower back pain using a variety of techniques including effleurage, petrissage, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, trigger point therapy, and rapid release. Each session is customized to your needs and enhanced with warm hot towels, magnesium muscle relaxant application, and aromatherapy to support deeper relaxation and recovery. Applicable for direct billing.
Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic drainage massage is a light and gentle treatment. It encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system is responsible for removing waste and toxins from body tissues and the circulatory system. Unlike the circulatory system with the heart, the lymphatic system does not have an internal pump. The therapist will use manual techniques to create movement within the system and reducing congestion. The course of treatment will be determined by therapist & client at the time of appointment. Manual lymphatic drainage is often combined with therapeutic massage. Applicable for direct billing.
